Phoenix Day is owned and operated by Tony Brenta, the company founder’s great grand nephew. Since Phoenix Day’s inception in 1850, the company has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of the lighting market and its clients. Tony takes great pride in continuing to fabricate quality custom light fixtures, each carefully hand crafted at the workshop in San Francisco. Most days, will find Tony out in the workshop or meeting with client’s to review custom lighting designs using brass, bronze and hand-blown glass.
Phoenix Day carries a selection of traditional, transitional and contemporary designs, in a full range of standard and custom finishes. They offer the unique opportunity to customize their product line items, as well as create completely custom pieces. Phoenix Day also works on lighting restoration, and is currently restoring the main chandelier for the historic Curran Theater, originally fabricated by Phoenix Day in 1922. Phoenix Day light fixtures can be found at private residences around the world, as well as The San Francisco Opera House, The Awahnee Lodge at Yosemite, Cairdean Winery, The Four Seasons Hotel Ko Olina and Stanford University.
